If anyone is stumbling on this that hasn't been before or only knows me from the phemtosecond that I am in the trailers, or perhaps was hoping that I'd be pirating the episode early and hosting a high quality stream, then sorry. But still, welcome to FoulENT! This is what I do when I'm not appearing on Channel 4 or crying myself to sleep at night. And it's pretty fun! The site, not the crying. Anyway, positivity!
This is all very exciting, and whilst I can't talk in detail about the show or the episode I'm in just yet, I can talk about a few details to hopefully get you to tune into the show and keep an eye on our site and social media pages closer to the air-date.
So, all I can say right now is that I will be a part of an episode of 'The Job Interview' on Channel 4. It's a documentary series about, if you couldn't guess, job interviews. Specifically, one episode will centre on a job in Birmingham which I applied for. And yes, this will feature on the program. If you want to read the press release about this series, have a butchers at this. It's fairly skimpy on details, but the premise is fairly simple to figure out, in all honesty.
I don't know the exact air date myself, but the series launches this month on Tuesday 12th July. I don't feature on the first episode, but I will keep you all updated on which episode I'm on and what the time and date of the broadcast is. I really want to tell you more about the show and what happens, as well as what I thought of the production and the finished product itself, but that's all for another time. In the meantime, I will feature in the adverts for the show leading up-to the start date, so do let me know when you see me on your screens!
I'm equal parts excited and terrified to share this with you. Genuinely, this is probably the biggest piece of exposure of I've gotten in my life and it's super weird to see people message me with "Is that you on Channel 4?". As a final and definitive message to the people asking me that question: Yes and stay tuned!
In the meantime, you can always bother me on Twitter if you really want. May as well bother the site on Twitter and Facebook whilst you're at it. We'll be taking more about 'The Job Interview' as the month continues, so do keep any eye on everything!
Maybe soon we'll be able to say "FoulENT: As Seen On TV"!
