Orange Is The New Black star Danielle Brooks was surprised when her racially charged tweet caused a race-related shitstorm on Twitter.
The 26 year old actress, who plays the stupidly named 'Taystee' Jefferson on the Netflix showed tweeted out "I hate when gate agents look at me like I've never flown first class and say 'You're in first class, lucky you!' really tho." to her almost 270 thousand Twitter followers, thinking none of them would react to her implication of racism, in what has been called the most near-sighted decision since Helen Kellar was given a bomb disposal job.

As we all know, it's impossible to be 'lucky' enough to able to afford first class flight tickets if you're black, like the wealthy, stupid actress Brooks is. Brooks claimed that she has been able to afford first class flights on multiple occasions, which already makes her more lucky than most of the people who pony up £7 a month to watch her stupid show on Netflix. However, that didn't stop hundreds of her followers getting their social justice knickers in a twist, as they all tweeted out support and drank the Kool Aid together.
Twitter user @ said "It doesn't matter how polite people are, if they aren't polite in exactly the way we want them to be, it is racist #OITNB #EverythingIsRacist #ImNotFunAtParties". Similar responses to the tweet claimed that the flight gate attendant was assuming that black people can't afford nice things and should be fired, all for the crime of trying to be a nice person and being taken out of context.
The madness continued when overly defensive not-racists hit back. @ responded with "If I was rich and stupid enough to be able to fly first class, I reckon I could stand a few black gags in return for free booze", with @wightisright chiming in with "If I was black and stupid enough to be able to play the race card when people are trying to be nice, I still wouldn't do it, because I am not an inconsiderate bitch"
Brooks later deleted the tweet, presumably because she didn't think playing the race card would result in her being called out as racist herself. Brooks was then reported to have been frantically Googling if it was possible to be racist against white people, as well was what the definition of irony is.
