Reading And Leeds Try Out New Homophone Gag On Festival Goers

The organisers of the Reading and Leeds festivals today revealed that they are planning on trolling thousands of entitled hipster bellends this year instead of providing a mediocre selection of socially acceptable almost but not quite anti establishment indie bands. CEO of ReadingAndLeeds Tarquin Quiteatwat told Twitter "This year we are planning a huge gag, it will be great. At Reading there will be thousands of books and at Leeds there will be about 50 power cables for kettles."

Reading festival fan Mark Sayd-Barsterd commented "I don't get it. Why books? Reading is a place where there is a festival, that is the only joke I could think of to do with Reading. I know a lot of jokes as well, I spend a lot of time reading sickipedia, well I did until it went away. Now I never read anything except my old ticket stubs from Reading."

Vintage kettle collector Jonathan Nevershags said "Oh I am very pleased, I was going to go to Leeds because I accidentally ordered the tickets instead of the leads festival I go to every year and when I heard the promoter was going to change the way the festival operated and use it to sell leads, well I won't lie, but I had a wank there and then. And I was in Peacocks at the time, which could be why I am banned from the farm."

I really agree with your sentiments. Reading during a festival is very displeasing and unpleasant to see. If a person was just going to read his book, he shouldn't have attended a festival in the first place. However, I am not the one to judge whatever someone does to their liking. We should also try to understand that we cannot control their lives and it's up to them to decide on what they want to do in their free time.
