Dr Dre Completes Doctorate, Becomes Dr Dr Dre

He famously said 'if at first you don't succeed, it won't hurt to smoke some weed', but Dr Dre will need to be more careful with his advice from now on. 

The rap icon, real name Andre Young, has finally achieved his doctorate in his chosen medical field after years of academic study. Exactly what subject the Doctor has achieved his qualification in is still unknown to the public, but sources have confirmed he is now officially a Doctor. 

'I went to see this Doctor a few years ago, and he told me that if I wanted to stay healthy then I needed to lay off the weed,' said Dre. 'I knew for a fact that this cracka was lying to me, so I became a doctor myself. That way, I can tell myself to smoke as much weed as I want.'

The rap star, who is already one of the richest musicians alive, is already an entrepreneur and producer as well as stage performer. But the legend can now add Doctor to his list of impressive achievements.

'The hardest thing about receiving my doctorate is calling all my associates to tell them. I called Eminem and 50 Cent yesterday to tell them to change my name to Dr Dr Dre on all their upcoming stuff, but I ended up just telling them how rich I was before hanging up. It's a problem I've been having for years now'

Dr Dr Dre's new luxury headphones, named Dr Dr Dre Beats Women, will be available from December 2015 for £699. A Chris Brown Beats Women version is in the works for early 2016.
