A nineteen year old philosophy student at Leeds university has made his stance perfectly clear on Britain’s current EU crisis.
Derek Horne, who works part time in his local Argos stock room, is voting Britain out.
In a heated Facebook post this morning, Horne told his 128 friends to ‘Wake up sheeple! Our trade policy towards Africa is STUNNINGLY racist, and serves merely as a throwback to a bygone era! When will people realise?’
The outspoken status update was liked by a total of three people, including Sue Marshall, Derek’s supervisor.
‘If Derek was as passionate about these Morphy Richards kettles which we’re trying to get shut of as he is about the EU referendum, we would have a lot less kettles.’
Speaking to Derek via telephone earlier today, we asked him if he had any experience of the issues which Britain faces regarding inter-European trade.
‘Well, no. I’ve actually only left Leeds once and that was to go to a Dave Matthews Band concert in Hull. But I’ve done my research. I have Googled ‘reasons to leave the EU’ and then posted stuff on Twitter about it.’
Our conversation was tragically cut short due to Derek’s work commitments.
Morphy Richards kettles are currently going for £14.99 at Argos in-store only.
